What temperature does the HeatPad heat up to?
Our seed raising heatpad heats up to 37 degrees Celsius. This may vary by a few degrees Celsius depending on the environment’s temperature it is used in. Please note, this is not the temperature the soil will heat to. -
What temperature does the soil heat up to when the HeatPad is used?
On average, it should warm up the soil by 5-10 degrees Celsius. This is all dependant on the surrounding environment’s temperature it is used in and the thickness of the container sitting on the pad. -
Is the temperature adjustable?
No, The HeatPad does not have an adjustable thermostat. -
How much power does the HeatPad use?
The HeatPad uses very little power, it is only 12 watts, which equates to 0.288 kWh/day (24hrs) -
How long do i use the Heatpad for?
Use the HeatPad to germinate seeds and grow your seedlings to a stage where they can be transplanted into the garden when the weather is suitable. It is important that you ‘harden off’ your seedlings before moving them to the garden outside. There are many articles online about how to do this.
