MR FOTHERGILLS Tulip Jan Van Nes (except Tas, WA)
An elegant tulip with a tall stem and a narrow bright yellow bloom. A classic variety that is very vigorous, holding its colour well when in bloom.
Tulips are originally from Turkey and Iran and found their second home in Holland during the last years of the 16th century. Grow them in a well prepared, good draining soil or, if growing in pots, choose a good quality potting mix. Bulbs can be lifted and stored in a cool place for replanting next season. Best treated as an annual in warmer climates.
